Ava's Daily Veggie Mixes

Disclaimer: The  following guide focuses on Sun Conure diet, but can be adapted to suit your specific bird. A mix of fresh veggies, grains, and legumes should be served to your bird daily. We make large batches of veggie mix and freeze them in large Ziploc bags, which can last us about 2-3 months.  Recipe nos. 5 to 7 have intentionally been left blank so you can write down your own recipe with your bird's favorite combos. The question we were stuck on before getting Ava :  do we build our  own custom cage or buy one? When we began researching everything that goes along with adopting a bird, one of the things we quickly learned is that cage size, bar spacing and the material used are all very important aspects to take into account (based on your bird's size).
